Don't Fear the Reapers
This quest is impossible thanks to the lags Guild Wars sometimes has...
I think it should save which Reaper you've already talked too, so you can do it in multiple runs, not just one, because I've tried like 20 times, and the farthest I've got was 3 reapers, because lags always killed me at some point...
Please A-Net, change this quest so it saves to which reaper you've talked, I want to do the follow-up quests too...

Exact same problem, i get to 3, i normally get the massive lag as soon as i enter bone pits, then its all bad news, last night the game didnt pick up i made them all friendly, and by the time it caught up i had more hexes than a mesmer bar can handle.
The European servers are shocking, i was in the US a few weeks ago and i was getting an average ping of about 40-100, now back in the UK im getting an average ping of around 300-500, and im on a 40Mb fiber connection.

The stuck bug should have been fixed instead of implementing the /stuck command. There's nothing you can do to rewind once you realize you're stuck.
It's annoying in PvE; it's excrutiating in PvP.

Only pits can be somewhat tricky, rest is just a walk in the park.

Not if you get lags every few minutes...
Please A-Net make it possible to complete it in multiple runs.

One hot tip is to use a cupcake/rock candy, that way you always have a speed boost and it's easier to avoid enemies.
Another tip is to use an Essence of Celerity, which gives you a 20% speed boost plus 20% recharge of all spells, which makes it possible to keep "The Mad King's Influence" up at all times (considering you're using it on enemies that have already been 'charmed')
And third but not least, always get the wastes reaper last, as you have to go back to wastes later to talk with the King in The Hall of Judgment.

I just completed all Haloween quests first try (with the exception of this one on second try) on a laptop which can barely run just GW (not a single other process). Averaging 15 fps when no action on the screen and about 5 fps to 1 fps or less when running around and the screen has to render alot.
I gues you should try and rethink your employed tactics and playing style, because these quests, despite being harder than your average PvE quest, aren't even near impossible to finish on a shitty pc/connection.

Totally agree. I always die at the Bone Pits. I end up degening to death because I lag into a group. Ugh. This is ridiculous...

i don't use cons for pits part for that quest. i have gotten with 4 chars thru it without cons. If you are having with bone pits, here is a vid for it. (just turn down your volume) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EE5ew...eature=related Btw: It's the halloween event it's always laggy during events

This took me 4 tries. Hadn't had the chance to do these last year.
It took some practice, and I definitely am not familiar with UW as much as I should be, so it was a good way to explore a bit.
The main thing is to wait for regen and recharges.

Last year it took me at least 10 times before I figured it out.
My route was Pits -> Planes -> Pools -> Mountains -> Vale -> Waste. The hardest one to the easiest one (for me anyways), so at least you don't lose that much time seeking every reapers then going to pits and getting killed....

One stack : 40k, so 75 tot = 12k. A full con set doesn't cost that much when you are annoyed, a little essence of celerity helps you get passed those annoying monsters.

Festivals should be fun and to let everyone enjoy the event activities there should always be a range of activities at all difficulty levels.
I appreciate the Underworld is an elite area but on the night of the dead surely many of the undead are in our world which could allow us to play in theirs more easily.
Lower the rewards for normal level let people replay the easier events each year.
Make the others hard mode only to let the really good players have their fun and repeat those each year.
If they follow a developing storyline like the current Halloween ones then create new ones but again make following the story quests easy and hard so we can all take part.
Very surprised you didn't do this with all the festival events in the year.
Sometimes it takes just a little thought and a small amount of work to make many more people happy.
